LE FIGARO. – How did you react to the announcement of the prize?

Mario Vargas Llosa. – at first, I was surprised and happy to learn. And then, it gives me a new excuse to visit Paris, a city always dear to my heart. Moreover, joining the ranks my friend Milan Kundera, I read a lot and that I still admire, is a great honor for me.
