Rabid wolf ran to one of the stations and attacked two women — mother and daughter. As reported “Interfax”, the incident occurred in the village of Babynino.
According to the chief veterinarian Shatura veterinary stations Vasyl Nasonov, the women managed to drive the beast into the house and to call an ambulance and the local society of hunters and fishermen. As a result, the game warden shot and killed a rabid wolf.
After the corpse of the wolf checked in the laboratory for rabies and analysis have been positive, the district was forced to impose a quarantine. It is also known that victims needed medical help.
