For the week from 16 to 22 may in the northwestern Federal district the growth rate of cases of coronavirus, has exceeded the national average — 33% vs. 24%. This was reported by the Information center to monitor the situation with coronavirus (ICC).

In eight regions the increase was higher than nationwide: this Vologda oblast (56%), Arkhangelsk oblast (52%), Pskov oblast (40%), Karelia (38%), Petersburg (33%), Novgorod oblast (28%), Kaliningrad oblast (27%), Leningrad region (26%).
