In an interview with radio Sputnik academician Vadim Pokrovsky commented on the view that when the warm weather СOVID-19 less apply.
“there’s a direct connection with the weather there, but here in rainy and cold weather, people gather in confined spaces, in summer, people spread out in rooms with open Windows and have good ventilation,” — said the expert.
He added, “not so much the temperature that kills the virus, and that people are less communicate with each other”. The academician also recalled that autumn and winter are the best conditions for the coronavirus that is transmitted by airborne droplets.
