In the Altai region resumes sanatorium-resort industry. This was stated by the Governor of the region Victor Tomenko in an interview with TV channel “Russia 24”. Recall that the sanatoriums and other resort organizations of the Altai territory in early April, was forced to halt its activities, approaching the implementation of the sanitary requirements of the authorities of the region and the country sanatorium responsibly. But since June 8, the activity of health organizations that have a medical license, resumes. Yet of the 41 sanatorium Altai region opened only 9. The rest need to be retrained to respect the rules of the CPS for the resumption of activities. According to Tomenko, in addition to resorts, there are more than a thousand organizations involved in recreation and tourism. “The current situation is that we are up to 22 June are not yet able to return to normal operation. They likewise are currently implementing the whole complex of preparatory measures, so as soon as the decision was made, they could directly enter into the rhythm of its activity”, – said Viktor Tomenko. The gradual return of the region to normal life and work became possible thanks to the timely measures taken by the regional authorities. So, all arriving from outside of the Altai territory residents and visitors were required to undergo a two-week isolation. Now the situation has stabilized, the mode is cleared, and the region is taking all necessary measures to re-start to accept tourists. “Currently, we passed to the first stage of lifting the restrictive measures, and it is a serious step to return to normal life and work”, – assured the Governor of the Altai territory. On the question of what will happen in the region if the number of infected COVID-19 will increase, Tomenko said that in this case it is necessary to consider the return of more severe restrictions. “We’ll try to do in our life produhad been the situation,” – concluded Viktor Tomenko.
