In accordance with the agreement on military cooperation between the two countries in exercises with combat shooting and with the participation of the army and air force troops will be involved in both republics. In addition, the exercise will involve armored vehicles, artillery and mortars, military aircraft and air defence armies of the two countries.
Earlier, on July 12, at the site of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border in the Tovuz district, the clashes broke out. Then the parties accused each other of starting the conflict. The Azerbaijani side suffered losses from the Armenian side also killed a major and a captain of the armed forces.
