Joe Biden, who is seeking to participate in the US presidential election from the Democrats, called his candidate for Vice-President Senator Kamala Harris, U.S. media reported.
Later, both candidates must be approved by the Congress of the Democratic party.
So, Biden fulfilled the promise he had made during the election campaign to choose the female candidate for the post.
Kamala Harris 55 years. Her father is Jamaican, mother from India. She is a Senator from the state of California and participated in the Democratic primary, but did not gain sufficient support and withdrew from the presidential race.
