The UK has imposed new sanctions on nearly 50 citizens from several countries, including Russia, associated with the “Magnitsky case”. This is the first restrictive measures by the British authorities, declared after the country’s withdrawal from the European Union. Just a black list, which is published on the website of the British foreign office, got 47 people and two organizations. Restrictions touched 25 citizens of the Russian Federation. Restrictions adopted in the framework of the British version of the “Magnitsky act” adopted in the U.S. in 2012. According to the Financial Times, in the “black list” will include the suspects in the murder of a Saudi opposition journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
