Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that violators of social distancing and the attacks on the police and engaged in vandalism during the protests, “feel the force”, RIA “Novosti”.
Commenting on the riots which resulted from action for the rights of blacks, Johnson said, because violations of social distancing there is a threat of a new wave of the pandemic. In addition, he added that “those who attack public property or police officers will feel the full force of the law.”
At the same time, Johnson stressed that “understands the emotions”, which caused the death of an African-American to George Floyd at the hands of police from ethnic minorities, and added that heads the “most ethnically diverse in Britain, the government in history”. Earlier, the interior Ministry reported 135 detainees during the protest and about 36 injured police officers. Total shares for the rights of blacks in Britain was attended by about 137 thousand people.
