Burning forests of Kamchatka — the area of the fires reached 870 hectares

In the forests near two villages of the Bystrinsky district of the Kamchatka region plagued by natural fires a total area of 870 ha. As reported by the Main Department of EMERCOM of Russia in the region, introduced a state of emergency.

One fire area of about 120 hectares extinguish a few kilometers from the village of Anavgai settlement national the even. Another fire was found near the administrative center of the Bystrinsky region village Esso. Its area was 750 acres.

According to the MOE, the threat to villages is not, however, work to extinguish both fires is complicated by the very steep slopes of hills, difficult terrain and lack of rain.
