The fires in California have taken a toll. On Saturday, the toll rose to 31 dead and over 250,000 people have been ordered to evacuate their homes in a wide region near Sacramento, the capital of this western State of the United States. Some 250,000 people of Malibu, in which all the inhabitants of this city near Los Angeles, where many celebrities, have had to leave their residence. Among them, Lady Gaga. “Thank you to the firefighters, police and rescuers have been present to help us. You are real heroes,” wrote the singer on Twitter.

“I think deeply of all those who today suffer from these abominable fires and are mourning the loss of their homes or loved ones, she added on the social network. I join with many people wondering if their house will burn down. All we can do is pray together and for each of them.”
