Poet and songwriter Boris Dubrovin died on 95-th year of life. This was announced at the Union of writers of Moscow.

According to the source TASS, Dubrovin buried in the Troekurov cemetery.
Boris Dubrovin was born on 24 may 1926. At the age of 17 years he volunteered in the infantry. Was a gunner in the rifle regiment as a mechanic in a bomber regiment. Participated in combat operations in Belarus, Poland, Prussia, Germany. Received the order of the Patriotic war II degree, medals “For liberation of Warsaw” and “For the capture of Berlin”, etc.
Dubrovin wrote songs for Yuri Antonov, Herman, Lev Leshchenko, Joseph Kobzon and many others. One of the most popularly known of his songs — “From sadness to joy”.
