Died the literary critic and historian of the Russian Diaspora Lev Mnukhin

Died literary historian Lev Mnukhin, a well-known researcher of the life and work of poetess Marina Tsvetaeva.

As the press service of Rospechat, 82-year-old Mnukhin passed away after a long illness. The condolences expressed by the head of Rospechat Mikhail Seslavinsky.

Mnukhin has written more than 200 articles, books and scientific papers. He is the author of extensive commentaries to the works of Tsvetaeva, the compiler of the four volumes of the encyclopedia “Russian abroad. Chronicle of scientific, cultural and social life in France. 1920-1940” and the three-volume biographical dictionary “Russian expatriate community in France. 1919-2000”.
