Dr. butcher told how ice cream has helped to identify rare disease

the well-Known Moscow physician and TV presenter Alexander mjasnikov has told on air of TV channel “Russia 1” as the ice cream helped to diagnose a dangerous disease.

According to him, the patient suffering from heart disease, diabetes, and thyroid disease, could not eat cold, including ice cream. First, the man suspected cancer, but tests showed low hemoglobin and elevated levels of bilirubin.

In the end, doctors found that the patient suffered from specific forms of anemia — cold agglutinin disease. With decreasing temperature, such people develop antibodies to the red blood cells, which destroy them and lead to anemia.

Earlier butchers were warned that the habit of people to choose the most comfortable position on the toilet is fraught with serious health problems.
