Chief editor of “Media zones” Sergei Smirnov fined 15 thousand roubles for participation in the pickets in support of journalist Ilya Azar. As told Smirnov “Interfax”, the court in its decision on the penalty used the new wording of the picket as a “latent form of collective activities.” Smirnov was convicted of violation of part 5 of article 20.2 of the administrative code of the Russian Federation may 28 and sentenced him to a fine of 15 thousand rubles.
