Erdogan accused Armenia of attacks on the military of Azerbaijan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made a statement in which he accused the Armenian armed forces in the shelling of the military of Azerbaijan on the border, reports the Turkish news Agency “Anadolu”.

In its statement, the Turkish leader stressed that the Turkish authorities “strongly condemned” hostile actions of Armenia “against a friendly and fraternal Azerbaijan,” and called the action “deliberate attack”, aimed to prevent the settlement in Nagorno Karabakh.

At the same time, the Ambassador of Armenia in Russia Vartan Toganyan, acting on radio station “Echo of Moscow”, said that in the fighting on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, civilians have suffered Armenian border villages. According to him, among eight or nine wounded five civilians. Vardanyan also added that Azerbaijan conducted mortar attacks.

Recall the situation on Azerbaijani-Armenian border escalated on July 12. Both sides accuse each other of violating the ceasefire.
