The statement of Turkish Airlines of intent to resume flights to Russia from August 1, does not mean that the links will open. This was stated by Executive Director of the Association of tour operators of Russia (ATOR) Maya Lomidze online briefing at the site of the “National news service”. “I remind you that Turkish Airlines in June announced that flights from Russia to Turkey in July. According to her, there is no information about any interstate agreements on the opening of direct flights, and Turkey is not even mentioned in the list of countries of the CPS, which conform to safety requirements. “It’s hard to argue that the August departures of Turkish Airlines relevant and they will be held. The airline has the right to announce the sale of flights, there is nothing illegal, tourists will still get your flights on the basis of the existing ticket, but only after it will be opened to international flights,” — said Lomidze.
