In connection with the coronavirus pandemic of the Boston marathon on 14 September will not take place. According to a Twitter competition, the event will move into the online space, and all fees for participation in the competition will be returned.

Previous Boston marathon was held in April last year. The winners were Kenyan Lawrence Cherono and the Ethiopian of Worknesh Degefa.
