Former Deputy head of the Russian General staff tried to buy information about your criminal case

Accused of major fraud, the former Deputy head of the Russian General staff, Colonel-General Khalil Arslanov was trying to buy information on the progress of their criminal case from the military prosecutors. As reported TASS, said the judge 235th Garrison court martial Ilya Romanenkov.

“According to the materials of operative-investigative activities, Arslanov met with former and current employees of the Main military Prosecutor’s office, and offered cash rewards to give him information about his criminal case”, — the judge read out the case materials.

Arslanov said that “this is all made up”.

According to investigators, Arslanov involved in two counts of fraud on a large scale: at 191.5 million and 6.5 billion. Arslanova is also believed to be involved in a criminal case, JSC “Voentelekom” was initiated in 2013.
