France lit up the second largest Cathedral — a year after Notre Dame

In the French city of Nantes (Brittany) lit Gothic Cathedral of saints Peter and Paul is one of the largest in France.

according to the BFMTV, the fire started in the upper storey of the building at around 07:30 local time (08:30 GMT).

Arrived at the scene the emergency services were able to quickly locate the fire, over the fighting employs more than 100 people.

the Fire Department of the Loire-Atlantique region in his Twitter urged passers-by not to approach the scene.

Recall, the main Cathedral France Notre Dame nearly burned down in April 2019. Nantes Cathedral below his brother on six meters and much younger — its construction began in the XV century and lasted 457 years.
