Accompanied by her lawyers, Aminata Diallo, without a club since the end of her contract at Paris Saint-Germain this summer, arrived Friday morning at the Versailles Court of Appeal, noted an AFP journalist.

Incarcerated for five days after his indictment, the 27-year-old French international was released from detention on September 21.

But the Versailles prosecutor’s office, which had requested his placement in pre-trial detention, appealed against this decision: it is therefore now up to the investigating chamber to decide.

The hearing, which began at 9 a.m., is being held behind closed doors.

To get out of detention, Aminata Diallo had to pay a deposit of 30,000 euros.

Her judicial review provides that she lives with her father in Grenoble, her birthplace, with a weekly check-in and a ban on contact with players and the PSG club.

Considered to be the sponsor of Kheira Hamraoui’s attack in November 2021 in Chatou (Yvelines), Aminata Diallo, prosecuted for aggravated violence and criminal association, denies any involvement in this case.

In addition to Aminata Diallo, five men, suspected of having participated in the attack on Kheira Hamraoui, are indicted for aggravated violence and criminal association.

Four of them designated Aminata Diallo as “the sponsor of the violence, to allow her to occupy the position of the victim during future competitions”, according to the parquet floor of Versailles”.

One of these four men admitted having kicked, the other three said they had been present at the scene of the attack.

On November 4, 2021, Kheira Hamraoui was attacked with iron bars and beaten in the legs by two men, in front of Aminata Diallo, while the two players were driving home together from a team dinner.

In the wake of the attack, Aminata Diallo was placed in police custody for the first time before being released without prosecution.

His former club, Paris Saint-Germain, is a civil party in this case.
