The actor claims that one of the things that helped him get through it was reading about inspiration and motivation.
Stars of such films as Heat and Divergent, Ashley Judd claims that she struggled with a serious bought of depression when she was a child and teenager. The actress was notorious from secluding herself from friends and family and that she would sleep very long hours so that she would not have to deal with it. The actress claims that her played a big role in supporting her healing recovery.
Then take funny man Jim Carrey who you would assume would be a happy and upbeat person. But the truth is that Jim also struggled with depression and anxiety and was even on Prozac for quite some time. The famed actor came out on 60 Minutes and opened up about his struggles and claims that the book Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle played a vital role in his personal transformation.
With people such as Anthony Bourdain, Avicii, Robin Williams, Heath Ledger, Philip Seymour-Hoffman, and many others who have recently committed suicide do to mental health issues, it is important that people begin to take depression more seriously and get the help they need.
