In the HRC criticized the mass arrest of journalists, published on pickets in support of colleagues Ilya Azar, who received 15 days of arrest for a picket in the period of the coronavirus restrictions. This was reported on the website of the Council.

“And the quarantine may not restrict the constitutional rights of citizens, if their implementation does not constitute an epidemiological threat (real picket this threat definitely is not),” added the Council.
