In Ganja arrived pilots, engineers and technicians of Turkish air force to participate in joint with the Azerbaijani armed forces tactical flight exercises TurAz Qartalı-2020.
according to the Azerbaijani defense Ministry, the exercises started on July 29. They involve the participation not only of the air force and ground troops. They will be involved armored vehicles, artillery, mortars, military aircraft and air defenses of the armies of the two countries.
the Ground part of the exercise will be held from 1 to 5 August, and from 29 July to 10 August.
Note that the maneuvers are held on the background of worsening of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations and armed conflict on the border, as a result of which both sides killed about two dozen people. However, Azerbaijani foreign Ministry said earlier that the exercises “help strengthen regional peace and security”.
