According to the Deputy, currently the farmers are trying to revert to attract Ukrainians to work, but there are difficulties with obtaining visas. Maliszewski said that the organization issuing work permits in Poland for citizens of Ukraine at the request of employers, work effectively, however, on the side of consular service the problem arose in connection with the closing of offices due to the coronavirus.

Maliszewski added that a week and a half in Poland, a period of strawberry picking and farmers need a large number of seasonal workers. Then the same problems arise with the collection of blueberries and apples.

currently, according to the policy, farmers employ poles who lost their jobs or are on unpaid leave, but it does not cover the entire needs of agricultural enterprises in the labor force. Maliszewski said that partial harvesting will lead to a serious increase in prices for agricultural products.
