In Sochi businessmen have stolen from the river 16 thousand cubic meters of gravel.
As reported in the Prosecutor’s office, four residents of Sochi 41-62 years on behalf of OOO “Construction company “BISON” with the permission of the Ministry of natural resources of Krasnodar territory have received part of the river Mzymta in Sochi for carrying out dredging works without withdrawal of water resources. Under this pretext, 1 August 2018, 12 September 2019 employees kidnapped pebble-boulder soil volume of not less than 16 thousand cubic meters, totaling more than 7.8 million rubles.
the amount of damage the river has estimated for the sum more than 20 million rubles.
the Case was investigated by paragraph “b” of part 4 of article 158 (theft, that is secret plunder of another’s property, committed by a group of persons upon a preliminary collusion in especially large size), article 257 of the criminal code (execution of other works in violation of the rules of protection of water biological resources, if these acts resulted in destruction of significant amounts of fodder reserves).
in addition, one of the defendants was charged under part 4 St. 159 criminal code (fraud, i.e. theft of another’s property by fraud committed in especially large size).
the Case goes to trial.
