In St. Petersburg, two activists were beaten after they pasted leaflets against “zeroing” in the amendments to the Constitution in the area W/station “Sosnovaya Polyana”.

As reported by ZACKS.PY, libertarian Yevgeny Smirnov and his friend Oleg Semenov, unknown assailants attacked the night before. In the leaflets that they put up at the local grocery store contained quotes President Vladimir Putin in different years, in which he criticizes the prospects of changing the Constitution.

According to Smirnov, the first two unknown persons called them “traitors” for these flyers, and then they started beating him, then they were joined by another man. The activist said that the attackers were drunk and after the beating were doused with beer him and his companion.
