In the Amur region environmental Prosecutor’s office is investigating the oil pollution of the river Selengi near the village of Ekimchan.
According to the Agency, the audit also involved the staff of the local departments of Rosprirodnadzor and the Federal fisheries Agency and the Ministry of natural resources of the Amur region. To date, the source of the contamination is not found.
