In the case of the death of MH17 over the Donbas may be new participants

the Number of participants in the case of downed passenger plane MH17 may increase. This was stated by the Ukrainian Ambassador to the Netherlands Vsevolod Chentsov, reports “UKRINFORM”.

According to him, the Dutch side is considering the possibility to involve in the process of the state, whose citizens died in the crash.

Chentsov added that the expediency of Ukraine’s accession to the initiated case will be made in light of the findings in the case of “Ukraine vs Russia” in the International court of justice, as well as a lawsuit against Russia in the ECHR.

Earlier it became known that the proceedings of the downed aircraft are scheduled for 2021.

Recall that the airplane flying flight MH17 from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, was shot down over Donetsk region 17 July 2014. On Board were 298 people, none survived. According to the findings of the international investigation team JIT, by a missile fired from “Buka”, stationed in the district of Kursk, the airliner was shot down militias Donetsk people’s Republic. The Russian side denies involvement in the crash. Currently, this case involves four accused: Russian citizens and one Ukrainian — Igor Girkin (Strelkov), Sergey Dubinsky, Oleg Pulatov and Leonid Kharchenko.
