According to the Supervisory authority, the regional court examined the appeal and upheld the decision of the Central regional court of Khabarovsk. According to this decision, the regional “management” needs to transfer radioactive waste to an authorized body and to ensure their physical protection. The state Corporation “Rosatom”, in turn, should ensure the safe management of waste.
According to authorities, flue dust, which is stored in the silos of the plant, is in Federal ownership. The company has no right to produce this kind of waste any actions.
the Plant is located in the centre of Komsomolsk-on-Amur, and radioactive waste in amount more than 2 thousand tons are kept on it for more than 10 years in one of the shops there are 12 bins with radioactive dust gas purification.
