Earlier on the website of the Institute reported that the radionuclides came to Europe from Western Russia. Now they say that maybe because of the wrong translation (the message was posted in the Netherlands) some of the media mistakenly wrote that radioactive material came from Russia.
“At this stage it is impossible to determine a specific country-source”, — is spoken in the message of the RIVM.
In the first half of June, the sensors Norway, Finland and Sweden recorded an increase in the level of radionuclides on-site. The number of substances was very low and did not cause damage to human health and the environment.
