In the Supreme court filed the second lawsuit challenging the vote on the amendments to the Constitution

the Supreme court of Russia has registered an administrative appeal challenging the decree about carrying out on July 1 of the voting on amendments to the Constitution. About it reports “Interfax”.

the Lawsuit was filed by a certain Gennady Rudyak.

Previously, the Supreme court has rejected a similar claim filed by Victor Masarykovy.

additionally, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin signed a decree on postponement of the nationwide vote on the issue of approval of amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation from April 22, for an indefinite date. Putin then signed the decree on holding of voting on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation on 1 July. On the national ballot submitted one question: “do You approve the amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation?”. One of the amendments, which allows Putin to be elected for a new presidential term, caused a public outcry. There are petitions that have opposed such changes.
