In the Tula region opened a criminal case after the death of a patient with suspected COVID-19 from traumatic brain injury

The Governor of Tula region Alexey Dyumin at a special meeting on Monday demanded to clarify the circumstances of the death of men admitted to hospital with suspected coronavirus and died from traumatic brain injury. As reported “Interfax”, the head of the region called the situation outrageous. “This incident will not be able to pull on the brakes. Silence will not work — the guilty must be punished”, — quotes Agency the words Dyumin. According to local media reports, the incident occurred in late may in Novomoskovsk city hospital. As the “Vesti-Tula”, relatives of 43-year-old Constantine Krasikova say that after staying in the Novomoskovsk hospital the man died from traumatic brain injury. According to them, at the end of may a man came to a local hospital with a suspected coronavirus. The question arose of transferring it to Tula. But during his stay in the hospital of Novomoskovsk, on the patient’s body there were traces of beatings. According to the Agency “Tula news”, about her son’s death, his mother Raisa Ivanovna — learned the next day from a member of the funeral company. “You there, in Tula, a son died of coronavirus. Please accept my condolences”, — said the employee of the funeral home. In this case, as according to “Tula news”, the report of a forensic expert who carried out the inspection of the body, it is said that Constantine was hit on the head with a blunt object, and COVID-19 had not revealed. Relatives of the deceased believe that the story of transportation from Novomoskovsk to Tula has been started in order to hide traces of crime.
