Daniels was 83 years old. In recent years he lived in the American city of Nashville. He is known as musician and singer in country style, played in teams, The Jaguars and the Charlie Daniels Band, and also participated in record of albums of Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen. In 1979 he received a Grammy for the song “The Devil Went Down to Georgia”.
