In Ukraine since the beginning of the pandemic in the early stages this infection was picked up 225 pregnant women. This was reported the Deputy head of the Ministry of health Irina Mikituk, informs UNIAN. Two sick COVID-19 was not destined to be mothers — they died.
According to Mikicic, pregnant women “are an especially challenging group of patients.” Out of 225 infected for the time of 92 pregnant women were hospitalized.
Pregnant women made up a small percentage of all cases of coronavirus — only 0.4%. As of today the total number of confirmed cases of infection COVID-19 in Ukraine for almost 61 thousand, including for the last day — 829. Recovered more than half of the infected died 1534 human.
