The Archipelago

It was fifty years ago. In his apartment in london, Judy Garland is found dead of a drug overdose. She was only 47 years old and leaves behind three children: Liza Minnelli, 23 years, Lorna Luft, 17, and Joey Luft, 14 years old. For this anniversary, the British, who have always more loved than Americans, have spent a biopic soberly baptized Judy with Renée Zellweger. The world premiere will take place next week at the international film Festival of Toronto. Adapted from End of the Rainbow , piece of music, acclaimed in London and on Broadway, this film will be released in January 2020 in France.

In the meantime listen to Renée Zellweger singing I Can’t Get You Anything but Love , Over the Rainbow and When You’re Smiling , one can immerse themselves in the life of Judy Garland. A melodrama terrible it might appear to be invented if his biographers had not so well documented.
