In 1997, the international film festival of Berlin, Juliette Binoche had won the silver Bear for best actress for her role in The English Patient . In 2019, the French actress will return to the Berlinale, as the president of the jury, announced on Tuesday that the organiser of the event which will be held from 7 to 17 February.
“I’m very happy that Juliette is the president of the jury in 2019. The festival is very special for it and I am glad that she will return in this exceptional position,” said its director, Dieter Kosslick, in a statement.

The golden Bear of the 69th Berlinale, will be awarded on 16 February. In 2018, the film Touch me not , exploration, half-way between fiction and documentary on intimacy and sexuality, film director, Romanian Adina Pintilie, had received this prestigious award.
