According to regional GU Ministry of emergency situations, the operation is hampered by weather conditions and steam emissions from the crater of the volcano.

According to the Ministry, July 6, needed help to two tourists who climb the volcano Klyuchevskaya Sopka. At a distance of about 200 meters from the crater of the volcano one of them has two left feet, he was unconscious, presumably because of altitude sickness.

Rescuers managed to take from the slope of a volcano the second traveler, however, due to rockfall and debris flows they are unable to get to the top of the hill, where he was to be the victim.
