Liksutov: Moscow Authorities will not impose restrictions on the use of personal transport after the end of the pandemic

Deputy mayor of Moscow and head of the Department of transport Maxim Liksutov in an interview with the Internet portal “Knife” told about how to reduce congestion during a pandemic coronavirus affected the ecology of Moscow.

“The environmental situation that prevails now, has already had a positive impact on the health of Muscovites, therefore, all are interested in people to use private transport less. Because in Moscow 90% of harmful emissions in the atmosphere is due to personal transportation,” — said Maxim Liksutov.

the Deputy Mayor promised that the government will not restrict the use of private transport after the period of isolation, but will offer the citizens more environmentally-friendly alternatives.
