Lukashenko called the rate of decline of the economy of Belarus

“our Economy is export-oriented. So, we saw a certain decline of the economy, although acceptable for us to fall. Right,” — quoted Lukashenko BelTA.

However, the head of state believes that the Republic’s national economy may soon recover, as other countries have started to revive various sectors of the economy previously closed because of the hysteria, “which was developed in the media” because of the pandemic, COVID-19.

But he noted that many industries, such as agriculture, construction, the IT sector, gave a noticeable increase. “The issue will be with the industry”, — concluded the Belarusian leader.

As is known, the Belarusian authorities did not take special quarantine measures. Today in the Republic are infected with more than 36 thousand people, 199 of them died.
