“Harvey Weinstein has exceeded the limits. It made me advances when we work together”

Madonna in the New York Times Magazine

I “feel raped”, enrage-t-it. To 60 years, Madonna wants to give a perfect image of it before the release of his new album, Madame X on June 14. And the matriarch of the pop did not appreciate the portrait “Madonna to 60 years,” yet laudatory, the journalist Vanessa Grigoriadis, was provided in the New York Times Magazine of 6 June. “To say that I am disappointed by the article would be an understatement,” says the singer on his account Instagram.

“The journalist who wrote this article has spent hours, days, months with me. She has been invited into a world that few people have the opportunity to see,” says Madonna, regretting to have accepted in his inner circle, Vanessa Grigoriadis. “Having been raped at the age of 19 years, I have the right to use the analogy”, declared the star at the end of its publication.

The nature of his claims remains unclear. Just, she says that “the journalist has chosen to focus on subjects trivial and superficial as the ethnicity of my lining or the fabric of my curtains. The singer made reference at the beginning of the article where the journalist describes, in fact, one of the liners of Madonna: “She was younger [that Madonna], like an Asian, but wore a mini-dress and a wig”. Another reason for the anger of the queen of pop: “comments to no end about my own age.” She believes that her civil status “would never have been mentioned if [it had been] a MAN! (sic)”. The same criticism that enable him to acknowledge “the venerable New York Times ” to be “one of the founding fathers of the Patriarchate”, and exclaim: “death to the Patriarchy”.

Madame on the cover of N. Y. T. Magazine, photographed by my dear friend @jr……….Also sharing my favourite photo that never made it in, along with pre-shoot chat and a celebratory glass of wine, after many hours of work! To say that I was disappointed in the article would be an understatement – It seems. You cant fix society And its endless need to diminish, Disparage gold degrade that which they know is good. Especially strong independent women. The journalist who wrote this article spent days and hours and months with me and was invited into a world which many people dont get to see, aim thing to focus on trivial and superficial matters, such as the ethnicity of my stand in gold-the fabric of my curtains and never ending comments about my age which would never have been mentioned had I been a MAN! Women have a really hard time being the champions of other women even if. they are posing as intellectual feminists. Im sorry i spent 5 minutes with her. It makes me feel raped. And yes I’m allowed to use that analogy having been raped at the age of 19. Further proof that the venerable N. Y. T. Is one of the founding fathers of the Patriarchy. And I say–DEATH TO THE PATRIARCHY woven deep into the fabric of Society. I will never stop fighting to eradicate it.

Madonna harassed by Harvey Weinstein

The ire of Madonna seems to be disproportionate in the face of the praise that he reserves the journalist, who celebrates the beauty and nature “legendary” musician. For Vanessa Grigoriadis, Madonna has designed “the dominant model of femininity in the United States” without which “Britney Spears, Lady gaga, and maybe even Janelle Monae” would not have existed. Compliments that contrast with the reputation degraded from the star in the United States. Some scholars qualify now the queen of pop of “toxic” to the american youth.

during his interview, Madonna reveals that she suffered the onslaught of the sexual predator Harvey Weinstein. “Harvey has exceeded the limits. It made me advances when we work together” on the documentary Madonna: Truth or Dare (“Madonna: truth or dare?”) in 1991. Without rejoicing over the fate of the ex-producer. “I have not applauded because I do not wish the fall of person,” she says. I don’t think this will be good for the karma. But it is good to know that someone who has abused its power for so many years can be held responsible”. Madonna would she have desired that this confession is not disclosed, the reason for his anger? Or did she simply regretted a portrait too realistic as it strives to appeal to millenials with its new character of Madame X?
