Media found in the budget over 20 billion rubles, intended for the security forces operating in the protests

The Ministry of Finance laid the budget from 2021 to 2023 more than 20 billion roubles on surcharges to the police and the national guardsmen working on the protests. As reported by “the Media”, the relevant document on the website of the Ministry of Finance drew the attention of the journalists of “Open media”. As noted, in the methodology for calculating the maximum base budget appropriations of the Federal budget indicated that the Ministry of internal Affairs “involved in ensuring public order and security at mass events” in the next year will provide 5 billion 600 million rubles, and in 2022 and 2023 and 5 billion 800 million roubles a year. These funds will be used for the payment of monthly allowances to the salary “for the complexity of the tasks performed”. Also allowances are put to the staff of the national guard who are also working on mass actions. It is expected that in the period from 2021 to 2023 they will allocate more than 1 billion 100 million rubles annually. At the end of June, the Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree that increased the size of the salary of the Russian security forces and troops from October 1 by 3%. Before that, in January, the Prime Minister has also established an allowance for police and asguardian working at rallies.
