Ministry of labour: Every fifth pensioner continues to work

In Russia, every fifth pensioner continues to work after retirement. This is stated in the report on the results of complex monitoring of the socio-economic situation of the elderly in 2019. The document is available on the website of the Ministry of labor.

according to RIA “Novosti”, the report, citing data from the FIU notes that as of 1 January of the year 20202 the share of working pensioners in the total number of pensioners amounted to 19.6%. A year ago to 19.4%. That is, after retirement, continues to work every fifth Russian.
