Experts explain — bread and rolls without sugar contain large amounts of starch which may be in the form of a polysaccharide. These substances are hard to dissolve in the saliva of the person providing long-lasting negative impact on the enamel of the teeth.

At the same time, the composition of chocolate include monosaccharides that dissolve easily, so there is a partial neutralization of the negative impact of sugar on tooth enamel.

Experts also suggest to exclude from the diet: processed foods with a fat content of artificial additives and salt.
