fifteen years ago, Julien Masmondet has docked at the island of Oleron, to the strikes of Rochefort and Marennes, a festival, Music in the country of Pierre Loti , placed in the memory of the writer, a native of Rochefort. The 15th edition will take place from Saturday 25 may to Saturday next. Through the rich programming of the event, Julien Masmondet, at the head of the Chamber Orchestra of New Aquitaine who officiera throughout this week of concerts, a tribute to the great composers of the French repertoire. Including Albert Roussel, a composer of the early Twentieth century which we are celebrating 150 years of the birth this year. His symphonic Feast of the Spider his opera Four poems , opus 3, or The Merchant of sand that goes , a music scene, will be played.
