Russia’s Investigative Committee opened a criminal defamation case against opposition leader Alexei Navalny. This was reported in the press service of the Investigative Committee. Policy faces a fine of up to one million roubles or compulsory works for a term up to 240 hours.
Investigators believe that Navalny has violated the law by commenting on the video of the TV channel RT, in which the veteran Ignat Artemenko expressed its position regarding the amendments to the Constitution.
