Nearly 200 people were detained in Belarus rally in support of Lukashenka's opponents

Belarus detained about 200 participants of unauthorized spontaneous rallies in support of undocumented presidential candidates of the country. This was reported on the website of the human rights center “Viasna”.

the police detained 188 people, among them journalists from various Belarusian and international mass media, said the center. It noted that some of them were eventually released.

Shares were also held in Gomel, Brest, Pruzhany, Soligorsk, Bobruisk, Grodno and Columns in these cities in total detained about 30 people.

Recall that on July 14 the candidate for the President of the country Victor of Babariko was denied registration by the CEC. Currently, the former Chairman of the Board of Belgazprombank is under arrest and accused of money laundering, tax evasion and bribery.
