North Korea has declared readiness to send troops into the demilitarized zone

North Korea is considering sending military units in the demilitarized zone on the border with South Korea. The corresponding statement of the General staff of the Korean people’s army published its state news Agency KCNA Korea.

the statement said that the troops can be introduced to the “transformation of the border into a fortress and strengthen military vigilance against the South.” The staff notes that “the relationship of South and North were getting worse and worse,” and expressed readiness “to provide military support to any measures taken by the party and the government.”
