Presidential elections are considered an important event in the life of Belarus 91.9% of participants of sociological poll held by the Committee of youth organizations of the Republic, BelTA reports.
According to the survey, 64% of citizens consider the elections as an opportunity for personal influence on the future development of the country, almost a quarter of respondents (24.3 per cent) refer to them as to the form of democracy, but 11.5 per cent believe the election is only a formal procedure, do not affect the actual political climate in the country.
