Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed head of the investigative Department of the MIA of the Russian Federation and the Deputy Minister the General-the major of police Sergey Lebedev. A decree posted on the portal of legal information.
prior To that appointment, Lebedev headed the Ministry of internal Affairs in the Ryazan region. Simultaneously with the new assignment Lebedev has received a rank the General-the major of justice. He also liberated from their former positions.
earlier, Putin dismissed the chief of the investigation Department of the Ministry of internal Affairs, Colonel-General Alexander Romanov and released him from the post of Deputy interior Minister. In April, the employees of the RCDS in conjunction with the Department “M” FSB detained two Vice-Romanov, major-General of justice Alexander Biryukov and Alexander Krakow. They were subsequently arrested on charges of abuse of office. According to investigators Biryukov and Krakow reward was placed under house arrest the owner of the Optima Development of Alberta Hudojka accused of illegal possession of three plots of land worth 2 billion rubles, RBC reports.
Lebedev was born November 2, 1976 in the city of Shatsk, Ryazan oblast. In 1998 he graduated from the Ryazan Institute of law and Economics, the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia on a speciality “Jurisprudence”. Then worked as an investigator in the police Department of the Shatsk district of the Ryazan region. In 2002, Lebedev headed the ATS Chuchkovsky area of the Ryazan region. In 2005-2016 years built his career, eventually becoming first Deputy chief of the Main investigation Department of the Moi in Sverdlovsk region. In 2016, he returned to Ryazan oblast, becoming the Deputy chief of regional UMVD, in may 2018 Lebedev headed the Ministry of internal Affairs. Awarded medals “For valour in service” “For fighting Commonwealth” and “for difference in service” of three degrees.
